Turning Table - The beauty in treating strangers right.

As a youth Corper in a Yoruba land, i had a landlord who, unknown to me, did his NYSC in Igbo land,Anambra precisely.

During the brief discussion we had that evening that made him reveal such, he talked of how his host community treated him well.

Part of what he narrated was how village women would gift him with raw farm produce and the warmness of their heart.

He would have asked us (I and the other igbo corper,) not to pay for rent, but for the fact that his wife had collected it weeks back.

Recently, a dental technology intern called to ask me questions about the government dental centre in Enugu,my state of origin, be because she was posted to serve there.

I've so far given her my best support as it concerns her accommodation, knowing the high cost of renting a room in the East, compared to Osun State from where she could be taking of. I know First Baptist Church uwani Enugu will support her warmly.

Funny enough, we met in the Dental technology laboratory of the Osun State specialist hospital, Asubiaro, where I served the Good people of Osun state both on Personal and group level

I pray that Enugu will favour her beyond her widest dream,in Jesus' name.

Treating strangers right is good both for spiritual and social reasons.

THE PEACE OF NIGERIA LIES IN OUR HANDS.

TABLES TURN. MAY WE NEVER ABUSE IT WHEN ITS OUR TURN.
