Just as several nations are on partial lock down ,in order, to curtail the spread of the second more deadly variant of the Covid 19 Virus,  Nigeria has also followed suit. 

Most federal parastatals are presently on lockdown or better put, are working from home. I spoke with a federal worker to ascertain this.

Last year, the Students of the FOREIGN LINKS CAMPUS of College of health technology, College of Education, and other Colleges in the Campus were not affected negatively,since  learning was ongoing online.


This was made possible by the effort of her state of the art ICT department and her , ever ready to teach,  lecturers.

As usual, the school which loves to keep to all Covid 19 rules would not open for learning, if a directive were given by the Government anytime.

As another lock down is anticipated, she is set to partner with Bank of industry to upgrade her online learning programme to a world standard level.

"My dream is for the school to become well known for research orientation.... I want everything done here to be world standard and affordable..." Dr. Akinosun (The Chairman/CEO of the College)


Online classes have the following well known benefits :

1. Can be replayed even if a student wasn't disposed for classes when held.

2. Allows students to ask questions as usual, record and replay the answers to their questions and that of others.

3. Reduces contact that could lead to the spread of the Virus and more.

Unfortunately, Most students in government Colleges of Health, Education, etc were not privileged to enjoy online classes during the last year's lock down.

The school is set to be the cheapest Private college in the Nation, compared to the services rendered to her dear children (Students).

13 UGLY EXPERIENCES TO EXPECT IN THE NEXT LOCK DOWN The last global lockdown led to several unpleasant experiences for many. A look at these incidents helps one to be better equipped for another likely global lockdown. TO INDIVIDUALS  1. Panic buying - of course this happened and may happen again. 2.
